ADworld Experience is the main Italian SEM Event

My project from its first edition has become the Italian reference event for Adwords and Search Engine Marketing. In this “on the field” training day some of the best Italian AdWords advertisers showed us their most interesting optimization success histories in keyword advertising campaigns.

This AdWords optimization Lab reunited some of the most influential Italian PPC advertisers in an event marked by a continuous interaction between speakers and a very skilled audience (each speech lasted 20 minutes + 15 mins Q&A sessions).

All case histories were based on real campaigns with numbers and relevant details to replicate their successful structure.  The audience of participants has been vital to have the best out of every case examined and the most voted speaker of the day won the 1° “SEM Award Italy“.  First was Giulio Marsala, with his multiple cases of AdWords bannings, second ex aequo were Filippo Toso (holistic campaign optimization) and Francesco Gori (PPC campaign for an e-Commerce fashion retailer), and I got the third place talking about an optimization tecnique for low budget accounts.

The speaches were given by Andrea Cappello, Deborah Del Cortona, Lucia Freschi (TSW), Francesco Gori, Gianpaolo Lorusso, Giulio Marsala, Cesarino Morellato, Francesco Piersimoni, Michele Reale, Luigi Sciolti, Fabio Sutto, Francesco Tinti, Filippo Toso.

The event has been held in the wonderful location of Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna (one of the main Northern Italian Cities) on the 20th of April 2012 and there were more than 170 participants.

The afternoon “SEM Ignite” and final round table were two important moments of direct confrontation between freelance experts, representatives of some of the best Italian SEM agency and the public (among whom there were many renowned Italian SEM experts).
